Congratulations Area II!

ABOUT 3-Day Eventing

Eventing is considered by some to be the 'triathlon' of equestrian sports, and it is the sport to which Huxley's life is dedicated. Consisting of Dressage, Cross Country, and Stadium Jumping, it is a unique test of the horse and rider, and of their partnership. Eventing is uniquely rewarding. All three phases contribute to the final placing, and simply completing an event without penalties or elimination can be quite an accomplishment. For more information about Eventing and the governing bodies of the sport, please scroll down and click on the USEA, USEF, and FEI logos at the bottom of the page.

Huxley first sat on a horse's back when she was just 2 days old. She wasn't the rider then that she is today and she is not the rider today that she will someday be, but we like to think it comes to her naturally. Huxley has evented up to the level of Preliminary and was a member of the Area II gold medal winning team at NAJYRC in 2009. Huxley also has two young prospects she hopes to start bringing up the levels. For more information, please follow the above links.
